Hōkūleʻa’s Statewide Sail continued southward to Kaʻū on Hawaiʻi Island where clearing the water on and near land became the crew’s next restoration project. With hope to unveil its hidden beauty, the crew worked with locals of the area to make sure that Waiohinu didn’t remain just a story for future generations.
