ʻIolani Palace Recreates Royal Ball

SCROLl TO DISCOVER

The Friends of ʻIolani Palace are holding a Royal Ball at the Palace to raise funds for operations and special projects. The Royal Ball is an attempt to recreate the elegant and lavish royal balls held at this very same Palace during the time of the Hawaiian monarchy.

ʻIolani Palace Docent Zita Cup Choy takes us back in time to show us what it was like to be a guest of Hawaiian royalty like the Merrie Monarch himself, King David Kalākaua. The Royal Ball is being held in conjunction with Kalākaua’s 175th Birthday Celebration.

Visit ʻIolani Palace for more information.
