This past year was eventful for Hawaiʻi’s economy, full of foreign dignitaries and Disney magic. Although the world spotlight was on Hawai’i for the annual APEC summit, the economy also benefited from people choosing to support local farmers and businesses. As 2012 approaches, the lessons learned this past year will guide us well into the future.
