Nā Momi Ho‘oheno was created to capture the treasured life stories of our Hawaiian people so that future generations might be enriched by these priceless mo‘olelo of our cherished and unique way of life.

Bill Maioho is the kahu (curator) of the Royal Mausoleum, the sacred resting place of Hawaiian royalty at Mauna‘ala.  He descends from a noble lineage that places his family in intimate contact with some of Hawai‘i’s highest ranking chiefs.
