ʻO ka Lā Kūkahekahe he hanana ia e hoʻolauleʻa a laulaha ana i ka ʻōlelo o kēia ʻāina. Mālama ʻia he mau hoʻokūkū haʻi ʻōlelo, hōʻikeʻike, a haʻi ʻōlelo pānela o nā ʻano kumuhana like ʻole ma o ka ʻōlelo makuahine o kākou. E nanea mai nō i ke kani honehone o ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi.
Lā Kūkahekahe is an event that honors and promotes the native language of Hawaiʻi. Speech competitions, panel discussions, and workshops of various topics are all conducted through the ʻōlelo makuahine. Please enjoy these videos that span the various happenings across this two day event.
