In this first episode, we hear about the valiant efforts put forth by one ʻohana as they worked to revitalize a traditional birth practice of burying a childs’ placenta. Come and listen to Kīhei Nahale-a and Nohea Stibbard as they recount this story of how they sought out the rights to retain their first-born’s placenta during a time when such requests were unheard of and not practiced.
