The Friends of ʻIolani Palace are holding a Royal Ball at the Palace to raise funds for operations and special projects. The Royal Ball is an attempt to recreate the elegant and lavish royal balls held at this very same Palace during the time of the Hawaiian monarchy.
ʻIolani Palace Docent Zita Cup Choy takes us back in time to show us what it was like to be a guest of Hawaiian royalty like the Merrie Monarch himself, King David Kalākaua. The Royal Ball is being held in conjunction with Kalākaua’s 175th Birthday Celebration.
Visit ʻIolani Palace for more information.

Palace Recreates Royal Ball | ʻŌiwi TV is kinda boring. You might peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create article headlines
to get viewers to click. You might add a video or a picture or two to grab
people excited about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it
might bring your posts a little livelier. -
