Mai Poina Walking Tour

Mai Poina Walking Tour

The Hawai’i Pono’i Coalition presents the popular Mai Poina historic walking tours recreating four pivotal days leading up to the overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy.  Written by local playwright Victoria Kneubuhl, the tours present dramatic interpretations of history at six stations at and around the ‘Iolani Palace.

Costumed role-players will interpret the significant events and sites surrounding the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom through a dramatic narrative.
