Episode 5: Mark Yamanaka

Aloha ʻohana and friends,

Earlier this year, I was invited to perform on ʻŌiwi TV’s original musical series “Mele ma ka Lihiwai”. With a warm welcome from the hosts, Billy V and Mele Apana, I openly shared some of my original mele, which include Kaleoonālani, Ma Ka Hehi No Kuahiwi, and Maui Under Moonlight.

I also handed the mic over to my dear friend, Bert Naihe, who shared one of his original mele. Alongside us were our good friends, Eddie Atkins and Kīhei Nahale-a, who helped with putting on this show for all of you to enjoy!

Naʻu me ke aloha,
Na Mark Yamanaka
