ʻŌiwi TV recently visited the 2011 Annual Convention of the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs to gain more insight into the new Hawaiʻi State law, Act 195, which sets forth a process for Native Hawaiian self-governance.

On hand at the event were Soulee Stroud (former AOHCC President), Lynette Cruz (President of Ka Lei Maile Aliʻi Hawaiian Civic Club), U.S. Senator Daniel K. Akaka and former Hawaii governor John Waiheʻe, who all shared their manaʻo on the new law.
