Mele Ma Ka Lihiwai Episode 7: Nā Wai ʻEhā ʻŌiwi TV’s original music series “Mele ma ka Lihiwai” presents its seventh episode of season 3, located at Kaʻelepulu river in Kailua, Oʻahu with the handsome young men of Nā Wa ʻEhā. Enjoy the falsetto harmonies of Kamalei Kawaʻa, Kamaehu Kawaʻa, Kahikina Juan, and Kalanikini Juan, as they serenade us with a selection of their favorite mele Hawaiʻi. Accompanying them are their mothers, nā kumu hula, Hiʻilei Maxwell-Juan and Luana Kawaʻa, as well as Miss Aloha Hula 2017, Kelina Eldredge. In this episode, our host, Amy Kalili talks story with these men and guests from Maui about how they got together to play Hawaiian music, their interests in falsetto music, as well what keeps them grounded in music.
