Ma hope o ka 18 mahina o kona noho ʻana i uka, ua hoʻi ʻo Hōkūleʻa i ke kai. A ma loko kona mau makahiki he 37 o ke ola ʻana, ua mākaukau ʻo ia no ka huakaʻi ʻana i waena o nā hanauna e hiki mai ana.

After 18 months in dry dock, Hōkūleʻa has returned to the ocean. And going into 37 years of her existence, she is now ready for the journey through many generations ahead.
